Public Hustings for UN Secretary-General Candidates

On 28th May, 18:00-21:00, UNA-UK is hosting in central London a free Public Hustings for UN Secretary-General Candidates. All nominated candidates have been invited; so far, Mr Rafael Grossi (from Argentina) and Ms Rebeca Grynspan (from Costa Rica) have confirmed their attendance. The appointment of the UN Secretary-General is one of the most consequential decisions taken by member states. The role has a unique mandate to mobilise action to address global challenges, to decide on other senior appointments, and to ensure the organisation serves the world’s eight billion people.
